Review Prototype
Evaluating your prototype site or application gives you a wealth of data:
- what tasks your users are trying to achieve
- and what the key problems are with what you have now.
Uncover problems before expensive coding begins
- You can test your design before expensive coding and implementation work is carried out, to uncover any last-minute problems or issues
- You can discover if there are any refinements required due to differences between user behaviour on paper mock-ups and real-life screens.
What we do
1. We can conduct an expert review of your prototype.
- We use a set of guidelines called usability heuristics to evaluate how usable the site is
- We also evaluate how useful the site or application is likely to be, based on our experience and your knowledge of your customers.
2. We can conduct a usability test of your site or application with users. We use a representative sample of users to run through real tasks. We observe what they do and ask questions to find out how they work, and what is going right and wrong with the current design.
We can conduct this review whether or not we have done the design work involved.
What you get
You receive a findings report with recommendations on how to address any issues we find during the evaluation.
